Dialing New Efficiencies

The LSS phone system is getting an upgrade! Improved communication capabilities among locations and new efficiencies will contribute to a more productive work environment for the LSS team.

This upgrade provides the ability for extension-to-extension dialing among sites, replacement of older equipment, voicemail for sites that have not had it before, and significant operating budget savings. In addition, we will be implementing an electronic fax solution. This technology has been piloted in several departments across the organization with successful experiences.

The IT department is implementing this system in two phases. Phase One includes Richmond Terrace, Meramec Bluffs, Heisinger Bluffs, Home Office, Home and Community Based Services, and all Affordable Housing locations. Implementation will take place starting mid-March with the last location of this phase going live by first week of June. Training for the new phones and electronic fax solution will be provided on-site and communicated in advance. It is anticipated that Phase Two, which will include the remaining LSS communities, will begin to take place this summer and will run through the remainder of the year.
