Party! Party! Party! Employee Recognition Celebrations

We can all agree that Lutheran Senior Services has some amazing employees. (Hear! Hear!) We also have some amazing employees who have been at LSS for 5, 10, 20, even 45 years – which is definitely worth celebrating. 

In the past, we’ve hosted employee recognition events at offsite locations and in the evening. For some (and especially those we were recognizing) this was hard for them to attend. For a variety of reasons they couldn’t find a sitter or transportation wasn’t available – and in the end, couldn’t attend. So a team put their heads together and came up with a solution!

We’re going to make a big party even BIGGER. To publically recognize and thank employees who are celebrating important milestones, we’re combining our Christmas parties with Employee Recognition!

Why This is Going to Make For a Great Party

  1. More people can attend!

Where in the past only those who had served 5 or more years were invited to attend the Employee Recognition Banquets, now everyone can attend! Plus with a more convenient time, it should be easier to gather people together to celebrate.

  1. Milestones can be recognized by the entire community/service line!

Those who are celebrating milestones (5,10, 15, 20, etc.) will be able to celebrate with those they work with. We can cheer them on, thank them, and make a big deal about the important work they do.

  1. More prizes and fun!

Our Christmas parties have always been a great celebration, and now with employee recognition added, it’s going to rock your socks off. Milestone Employees will receive special gifts and those with 5 or more years of service (but not celebrating a milestone) will be eligible for some additional prizes.
