Why You Need a Flu Shot

CDC, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), and the Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC) all recommend that as a senior living and care employee, you should get vaccinated annually against influenza.

4 More Reasons

  1. Influenza (the flu) can be a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. Anyone can get very sick from the flu, including people who are otherwise healthy.
  2. You can get the flu from residents and coworkers who are sick with the flu.
  3. If you get the flu, you can spread it to others even if you don’t feel sick.
  4. By getting vaccinated, you help protect yourself, your family at home, and your residents.

Need another reason?
